Voiceover

From confident little trains to inquisitive cartoon kids — Glee has been voicing animation since age nine.

You can be whomever you want

Glee's first big voiceover came at nine, after her lead role on Odd Squad opened the booth door. She's now lent her voice to several beloved animated kids' programs — earning two Canadian Screen Award nominations, including her 2023 nomination for Best Performance in Animation for the role of Sandy on Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.

"What I like most about animation is the chance to play characters that look and sound nothing like me," Glee told CBC Kids News. On Thomas & Friends, where Sandy is a six-year-old, she keeps her voice light by raising her eyebrows or going up on her tippy-toes between takes.

"It's kind of like you're frozen with shock. The next day I was like — oh my gosh, I got nominated for a Canadian Screen Award! That's just so crazy."— On her CSA nomination
